I work as an independent consultant, and have been based in I offer a personal and professional service to contractors and
consultants, who require civil and structural engineering input. My services are aimed at companies who require consultancy in
fields that cannot readily be handled by the local consulting firms. Examples
are specialist erection equipment, structures of unusual design, temporary
works, steel work connection design and independent design appraisals. My career spans some 40 years and includes experience with
contractors and consultants. I have worked in My background is mainly in bridges, heavy structures and more recently
in steel buildings and aircraft hangers. My experience encompasses the fields
of piling and foundations, prestressed and reinforced concrete, steel
structures and specialist erection equipment. Working as an independent specialist I can provide long term or
intermittent input, and offer a personal and individual service. Where
necessary I can call upon associates (individual and company) to enhance and
complement my services. I have have close connections with several
engineering firms as well as individual engineers and government departments. April 2007 |
