Ratanakosin Waste Water Treatment Project, constructed by Siam Syntech Construction Public Co. Ltd., for Bangkok Metropolitan Authority (BMA).
Project included waste water treatment works and gravity collection system installed below existing khlongs (canals) and roads.
Sheet piled access chambers and jacking pits constructed in the khlong, for installation of 1.5 m. and 1.8 m. diameter wastewater drains.
Chambers designed to resist earth pressures, and additionally as a thrust chamber for a jacking force of 600 tonnes from EPB machine.
