Mucha Interchange forms part of the Second Northern Taiwan Freeway. Main contractor was BES. Specialist sub-contractor for balanced cantilever and incremental launching was L & M Systems of Singapore. Prestressing by BBR system. Three individual bridges were constructed using the balanced cantilever method, main spans were 85 m. Other parts of the project were constructed using incremental launching or on conventional falsework. |
